The" Songs of the War" contest dedicated to the 70th the anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945

On March,24 the RLA of the Russian Ministry for Justice held the first" Songs of the War" contest dedicated to the 70th the anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Academy's vocalists did their best to charm the jury in three categories:"Male vocal(solo)"," Female vocal(solo)" and" Duet".

That night the contest jury consisted of a prize-winner of all-Russia and international variety vocal contests, " the Golden voice of the Republic of Mordovia "titleholder Marina Karpova; a prize-winner of All-Russia and international variety vocal contests, a participant of the Ukrainian TV show "X-factor and TV project" Live Sound" Vitaly Gazizov; a chief of the artistic and technical assistance department of the Russian Federal System of Penal Institutions Taras Manzhos; a second class counselor of the Federal State Civil Service Oleg Lvovich Luzenko; an award winner of the students' arts festival " Festos" Evgeny Alehin. Each of them stressed the significance of such events and a high level of participants' training , the stock of chosen songs being quite difficult. The participants included in their repertoire very popular songs like "Cranes", "Ah, these clouds in blue"," Sevastopol vaults"," the Echo of Love", " Do the Russians Want War " and others.
